1. As per para 2 and 3 (ii) of OROP Notification issued vide Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence etter No 12 (I)/2014 /D(Pen/Pol)-Part-II dated 07 November 2015, uniform pension to be paid to the Defence Forces Personnel retiring in the same rank with the same length of service regardless of their date of retirement. However, as per OROP Table No 7 pension for JCOs and OR and equivalent of Army, Air Force and Navy is fixed separately as X and Y Group. This is this not against ethos of “One Rank One Pension” and also against Para 2 and 3 (ii) of OROP Notification.
2. While in service Difference between X Gp and Y Gp pay is Rs 1400 (X Group Pay only). Therefore, difference in basic pension between X Gp and Y Gp should be Rs 1400/2 = Rs 700/- (50% of X Group Pay). Now after declaration of OROP Table No 7, pension difference is more than Rs 1700/- between X and Y Group in same rank with same length of service. Due to ibid gap difference/further gap/fraction will be increased more after declaration of 7th CPC.
There is nothing wrong in grouping as X,Y.

X group gets slightly more pension due to their diffrent nature of duty they happened to perform.
Their is nothing wrong fixing different pension for X AND Y GROUP. There is also nothing wrong if OROP DENIED by GOVT as it had been done past. There is also nothing wrong if direct entry diploma holders retiree get better than you. What differential nature of duty you performed god only knows. As for as pension is concerned YOU ARE ALSO IDLE. You are a TRUELY INDIAN FROG RATHER SENTRY CAREFULLY WATCHING AND PULLING OTHER FROGS CLIMBING AT LEAST YOUR HEIGHT. YOUR DEFFERENTIAL NATURE OF DUTIES MADE MANY AIRCRAFTS GROUNDED. Hey Hey that fame you have. If you are interested do sign the petition or ignore it. Don't do the lecture which are well to known to bearocarts and THE GOVT AS WELL.

but after retirment only rank remain not group so if Y & Z group group to be uplifted after retierment
DeleteIt is my humble request, NO comments, NO like, Only sign petition if sp. People wasting time in commenting, liking, disliking, Liking/disliking/seen number so far is more than 300 including my blog, face book and twitter but only till now only 40 veterans sign this petition. NO Hope more from veterans community. I will not use other method for promoting this petition like civil person doing to promote the same by expending amount through various promoting agency. This not my petition, it is on behalf of all veterans. Thanks.

DeleteI definitely would have signed..... if this was for increasing the y group pension to that of x group. But the petition says that you are equally happy if the X pension is reduced to y level... that's out of jealousy... which is not acceptable....also it shows arrogance when you say no comments only signature..... because even the lowest grade people will have questions when they sign something..............
DeleteIt is a gross unjustice to group Y. There should not be any up and down if they say equal.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is doing their best in class.There should not be any question regarding 'X' or 'Y' class at least after retirement.It's a question of understanding- why Officer's are getting same pension after retirement under same rank with equal length of service.There are various classes in in their stream too.In service all are getting benefits as per their category and classes but why differences after retirement.I believe it's a point of self under standing.
