X and Y Group violation of MOD Notification on OROP

OROP TABLE X AND Y GROUP – AGAINST MoD NOTIFICATION ON OROP

As per para 2 and 3 (ii) of OROP Notification issued vide Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, South Block, New Delhi letter No 12 (I)/2014 /D(Pen/Pol)-Part-II dated 07 November 2015, uniform pension to be paid to the Defence Forces Personnel retiring in the same rank with the same length of service regardless of their date   of retirement. However, as per OROP Table No 7 pension for JCOs and OR and equivalent of Army, Air Force and Navy has been fixed separately as X and Y Group.  This is against ethosof “One Rank One Pension” and also against Para 2 and 3 (ii) of OROP Notification issued by Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence,
