1. Decision of Hon’ble
Supreme Court delivered in Civil Appeal No. 418/2012 Union of india Vs Ram Avtar
decided by the Honble Supreme Court on 10.12.2014 in favour of Broad Banding of
disability pension to all pensioner other than invalided out.
2. The MOD issued orders on 18 Apr 2016 (PCDA (P) Circuar No 561 (Click Here) for Broad banding of disability in persuance of the Orders of the Supreme Court
to those Officers, JCO's & Other Ranks who had approached the
AFT and received favourable judgement.
3. As
regards all others effected personnel, today MoD clarified that NO such policy letter
has been issued by DESW for broad banding of pensioner other than invalided out.
4. The MoD reply declining any policy on broad banding of the disability other than invalidated out disabled pensioners are placed below.
